My name is Renee, I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and love of my life, mother of three beautiful children, daughter to the most amazing mother, and sister to eight awesome siblings.
I grew up in California in a very close family- I have two older brothers, two older sisters, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. Right smack dab in the middle and I love it. My mom is a single mother, she raised us all while getting her bachelors degree, working, and to top it off, she home schooled all 9 of us for 14 years.
I (begrudgingly) moved to Utah when I was 17 with my mother and younger siblings. I went to my first year of public school as a senior, where I met my amazing husband in math class. A month after graduating I found out I was pregnant. Shaun and I got married two months later, and exactly six months later beautiful little Audrey joined our very new family. When she was 18 months we bought our home, Shaun was still 19 years old when he signed the closing papers (I am 5 months older than him, what can I say- hes a stud). Since then we have welcomed Mason, Levi and Sukie (the dog) into our family.
There have been ups and there have been downs, but through the six layoffs, the broken cars, the flooded basements and almost loosing our house, we have just become closer to each other and to the Lord.
I started this blog as a place to share things I have learned in hopes that I can maybe help someone else. I am not professionally trained in anything (as I am sure anyone who reads the blog will figure out pretty fast:), I just have many passions, many things that I dabble in, a bit of a Jane-of-all-trades. So follow me in my journey to become more organized, more healthy, a better mother, and closer to Christ.
